31 Days of Self Care: Day 4 – Scheduling Self Care


I think the reason a lot of people struggle with self care is that they forget. I really do think it's that simple. Just like any other task you need to complete in a day, you need some kind of reminder to do it.  It has to be on your calendar or it won't get done. Today, I took another look at my calendar. I added breaks (including lunch breaks), a night out, exercise time and time to read. These are all things that I intend to do each day or each week but because they are not written down or on my calendar, I often forget about them. Today, I'm adding ME to my calendar.
