The biggest challenge for most people trying to clear away clutter is overwhelm. They just don't know where to begin. If your entire house is clutter filled, try focusing on one room. In that room, narrow your focus to one shelf, drawer or pile. Be sure your energy is high when you start to declutter. Set a timer for 30 minutes and see how much you can get done. If you're still motivated, keep going. If it's too much, try again tomorrow. Even if you only take 30 minutes per day for a week, you'll make some great progress. Be gentle with yourself and take your time. This is important but difficult work. Visit Clearning Made Easy for more tips on how to get started.
